Vishal Beri is the founder and Managing Director of Aegis Consulting.

He has a bachelors’ degree in law and political science and masters’ degree in international relations.

He has over 25 years’ experience in a wide range of economic and social sectors including transport, energy, tourism, information technology, health and human services.

He has a particular expertise in public policy and program evaluation, micro-economic reform, competition policy and strategic stakeholder management.

He is a former senior adviser to the NSW Minister for Transport and official in the NSW Cabinet Office, Australian Treasury and Sydney Water Corporation.

He is a Non-Executive Director of the Centre for Policy Development, an Australian public policy think tank with a focus on national and international issues.

The Hon Dr Peter Hendy is Special Counsel, Public Policy & Economics.

Peter has a PhD in government and a bachelor’s degree (hons) in economics.

He has over 30 years’ experience advising on economic, foreign affairs and trade, education, small business and employment policy.

He is a former Minister in the Australian Government, Chief Economist to an Australian Prime Minister, Chief of Staff to various Australian Government Ministers and senior official in the Australian Treasury and NSW Cabinet. Peter is also a former CEO of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and member of international business advisory committees, including at OECD.

He is currently a Non-Executive Director of a number of companies and serves as a Commissioner at the Commonwealth Grants Commission.

He is the author of numerous books, the most recent being Why Australia Slept: Why Australia is in danger of sleep walking into the future.

Peter has a PhD and masters’ and bachelors’ degrees in economics and over 45 years’ experience conducting economic and cost/benefit assessments of policy, programs and commercial activities for government and business.

He is one of Australia’s leading experts on cost/benefit assessments. He authored the Australian Government’s cost/benefit assessment manual and ‘Public Economics’, the foremost Australian text on the economics of public policy.

He is an adviser to the NSW Treasury, an academic at Sydney University and the former Chair in Economics at Macquarie University.

He is an Adjunct Professor at Sydney University and La Trobe University and Visiting Fellow at Melbourne University. He has authored over 50 books, reports and essays on the regulation of competition and is a former partner with Gilbert and Tobin, Lawyers (Sydney) and Commissioner of the Australian and NSW Law Reform Commissions.

Ana has a masters’ and bachelors’ degree in law and bachelors’ degree in commerce and over 25 years’ experience in energy, EU and international law.

She is a Lecturer at the Centre for Energy, Mining and Petroleum Law and Policy, University of Dundee and is a former official in the Ministry of Economic Relations and Central Bank of Slovenia where she advised on bilateral investment treaties, free trade agreements and legislative proposals. Ana regularly publishes in academic journals and newspapers.

She is fluent in English, Slovenian, Bosnian/Croat/Serbian, and Italian and understands Russian and French.

Tracey has a masters’ degree in sustainable development and over 30 years’ experience advising government and business on development and human capital issues. This includes extensive Indigenous community development experience in remote areas in Northern Territory and Queensland.

She is a member of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2). She is a former Board member of the Queensland Building Services Authority and was appointed to co-ordinate strategies around community recovery/rebuilding following Cyclones Yasi (2011) and Larry (2006) in QLD.
