The NSW Government was looking to improve the efficiency of asset management by its departments and agencies. We advised on the creation of a new property authority with special asset management functions.
Our Managing Director was engaged to join the Novartis leadership team and build a new government relations and public affairs strategy and team. The strategy assisted Novartis renegotiate medicine funding agreements with government, demonstrate its commitment to health policy and community issues, and engage with a new set of key health sector stakeholders. The strategy was recognised globally as the best in the Asia Pacific region.
Alere is the largest provider of patient self-management and diagnostic devices. We developed the evidence based strategy to enable Alere to promote to governments the benefits of patient self- management in the Australian health system.
Lend Lease and Commonwealth Bank wanted to bid for public private partnerships sought by the NSW Government for public housing redevelopment. We developed and implemented the government relations and public affairs strategy for the bid team, including the assessment of government related risks. Our advice helped the consortium decide to withdraw from the bidding process because of risks.
Dreamworld is one of Australia’s leading theme parks and tourist destinations. It wanted government support to develop an iconic tourism product that blends and showcases Australia’s unique native animal and Indigenous heritage. This was a first for grand scale tourism in Australia. The business case, policy submissions and public affairs strategy we developed helped Dreamworld win one of the few Strategic Investment Tourism Grants in Australia worth $1 million.
